Hi guys , let’s get new topic :
Childhood is a special time in everyone’s life. It is full of joy, fun, and learning. We make many memories during our childhood, but some remain in our hearts forever. One such memory that I remember clearly is my first visit to the zoo.
I was around six years old when my parents decided to take me to the zoo. I was very excited because I had never seen real animals before. I had only seen them in books and on television. We packed some food, and my parents told me to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
When we reached the zoo, I saw a big gate with pictures of animals on it. As we entered, I could hear the sounds of birds and animals. The first thing I saw was a large pond with ducks and swans swimming in it. I was amazed to see how beautiful they were.
Next, we went to see the lion. It was sleeping under a tree, but suddenly, it stood up and roared. I got scared and held my father’s hand tightly. He laughed and told me that the lion was inside a strong cage, so there was nothing to worry about.
After that, we saw monkeys jumping from one tree to another. They were very funny. One of the monkeys took a banana from a visitor’s hand and ran away quickly. Everyone laughed.
Then, we walked to the elephant’s area. The elephant was very big, and it had long tusks. A zookeeper was feeding it sugarcane. My father bought me some peanuts, and I gave them to the elephant. It took the peanuts with its trunk and ate them. I was so happy!
We also saw a giraffe, a zebra, and many colourful parrots. The peacock was my favourite because it opened its feathers and danced. It looked so beautiful.
After walking for a long time, we sat down to eat. My mother had packed sandwiches and juice. We ate our food while watching the animals.
Before leaving, my parents bought me a small toy tiger from the zoo’s gift shop. I was so happy with my toy that I held it all the way home. That day was one of the happiest days of my childhood.
Even now, when I think about that day, it makes me smile. It was a wonderful experience, and I will always remember it.
